EYE OF THE JAGUAR

Become part of the monitoring and protection of American jaguars in Costa Rica.

EYE OF THE JAGUAR MONITORING PROGRAM

From February 2021, we are launching the Eye of the Jaguar monitoring program in Costa Rica, and we are entering the American continent with the Eye of the Earth project. Monitoring takes place in cooperation with Costa Rica rangers in the Corcovado National Park and Guanacaste National Park. The main objective of monitoring is to obtain data from the life of American jaguars and their field protection.

Costa Rica’s National Parks receive support from us in the form of 50 UV595HD camera traps, 10 Predator Micro camera trails, 40 metal protective boxes, rope and padlocks, AA batteries and 60 SD cards. This mission also includes exchanging monitoring experience, detecting poaching and resolving conflicts with large cats.
