EYE OF THE EARTH
Become cameramen of the worldwide monitoring program which uses trail cameras to collect data on the life and behavior of wild animal species on five continents and protects them by detecting poaching.
WHAT IS THE MONITORING PROJECT “EYE OF THE EARTH” ABOUT?
The goal of this project is a 5 year long monitoring by camera trails, by which we will be creating a worldwide multilingual educational and motivational program Ethics of the Earth for schools on 5 continents together in cooperation with International Ranger Federation and state federations of rangers of nature or with private reservations.
One part of the program is uncovering the illegal poaching and logging activities in protected areas; training of rangers of national parks and using the modern technologies and uncovering of crimes inside national parks included.

We use camera trails UV595HD and Predator MICRO, which we are able to place not only on the ground, but also in the treetops. Camera trails are being set up by trained monitoring teams. Everyone who participates in the Eye of the Earth project with their partner camera, becomes part of the world’s nature conservation and international education on the importance of wildlife.

IMPORTANCE OF THE ETHICS OF THE EARTH
For many generations, we have been learning at school about the anatomy of the animals and how important they are for us humans. Although nobody have taught us about how they live in their real environment or about the meaning and importance of the animals, which they have for the whole ecosystem. We are not learning about the real function of the forests. Our studies are missing the connection, the relationships, ethics and the nature/naturalism. We still hear the word phrases as trophy hunting, We have come to believe that the forestry (forest economy) is indispensable, the hunting in our lands is normal, we have accepted the hazardous usage of chemicals in agriculture or being dependent on the meat industry.
These are some very important subjects to start an open discussion. In these times, when there are animals and plants disappearing from the Planet, when there are the rainforests and boreal forests on fire, when the climate is visibly changing, we have to think and finally look to the eyes of the truth. Who are the people, who are we? We have to admit that we in fact live on a planet of animals. We have to renew our honor and respect to the Mother Nature.
OUR GOAL
Our mission is to create good conditions for the education of one whole generation of people, who would understand that they are part of the earth, therefore the nature, and they would stop with the mass destruction of it, which would only be the continuation of the unsustainable economic growth and consumerism of today. The Eye of the Earth would not only be the key in creation of the Ethics of the Earth. It would be a great warning to the upcoming generations not to make the same mistakes as the generations before and the generations at the present moment.
COOPERATION WITH SCHOOLS
The most significant participants and cooworkers of the project Eye of the Earth are the partnering schools of the project NEPZ in Czech and Slovak republic. The students together with the teachers are gathering the finances for sponsoring the camera trails and therefore they become an important part of this partnership. In exchange the partnering schools get the data from the camera trail footage for the educational purposes.
THE MAIN PARTNER OF THE EYE OF THE EARTH PROJECT
The main partner for our projects is Fotopast.cz, from which we buy the cameratrails for favourable price. We cooperate together since 2017.
An important partner in 2020 was the Czech company HUSKY, which equipped the Eye of the Earth team with clothing for all seasons.
